The Divine Performing Arts Troupe Will Reach 650,000 in its 2008 Global Tour

The Divine Performing Arts Troupe's New York and Global Tour teams will perform in over 60 cities around the world for the Chinese New Year Spectacular. According to the Divine Performing Arts Troupe, the global tour will reach approximately 650,000 attendees worldwide.

Taiwan's Vice President, Ms. Annette Lu, was a special honored guest at the March 15 evening performance of the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Company's Chinese Spectacular in Taipei City. The show opened its four-day run with an afternoon performance at the Taipei International Convention Center.

On February 26, after several hours of negotiation with the Korean sponsor of the U.S. Divine Performing Arts, Korea's state-operated KBS TV submitted to the pressure exerted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and decided to cancel the scheduled Divine Performing Arts 7:00 p.m. show at the Busan KBS Theater that evening.

'Splendor' Rings in Chinese New Year, Ends Big 15-show Run at Radio City

NEW YORK—The full house at Radio City Music Hall gave a standing ovation to the Chinese New Year Splendor on Saturday, Feb. 9.

It was a fitting conclusion to a 15-show run over 11 days that presented, through dance and music, traditional Chinese culture to a diverse and appreciative audience.
